The Massachusetts Correctional Institution, Framingham, houses females sentenced to imprisonment, awaiting trial, or committed by the courts for alcohol or substance abuse treatment (MGLA c 125, s 16; c 123, s 35). Under the supervision of the deputy superintendent for operations, the front control unit is responsible for controlling entry into the prison facility. Request to visit inmate forms are created to admit visitors to see inmates in accordance with MGLA c 127, s 36; c 128, ss1-1A.
